Werner Corzelius has been making beer steins since the 1950s in the Westerwald town of Höhr-Grenzhausen. They started producing character steins after they had purchased the molds from Eckhardt & Engler, who had ceased production. All of their figurals are made of Feinsteinzeug (cream stoneware) and are hand-painted. The sizes range from ½ liter to one liter. Where appropriate, they include a music box in the base. Werner Corzelius marks their bases as shown in figure __.
